Process

In addition to selecting your home, it is important to develop a way to place the project on your site. Documentation of needs and purposes of a new project are collected. Some attributes are fuzzy, qualitative factors about the site, sunlight, or desired character; and others are detailed data such as surveys and local building regulations.

This preliminary information is weaved together with Meka’s modular system to uncover new possibilities and provide a solution that delights. Meka provides an Anticipated Budget for your total project at completion.

While Meka prepares documentation for construction, we will work with local consultants to verify work to be completed prior to delivery. Early in the step an Estimated Cost for your total project is provided. Meka will provide you with Scope of Work Documents for you to obtain costs for a locally based General Contractor to complete the construction of the foundation, final assembly and landscaping.

Meka works to cooordinate Contracts for your use in reaching an agreement with your selected contractor. This step also includes the documentation of project preferences. Meka will deliver materials and samples for selection. When choices are complete, we will secure worker’s schedules and pinpoint a construction date. Meka provides a Contract Price and Delivery Dates for your project at completion of this Step.

Agreement on the Contract Price and Delivery Dates begins Meka’s construction processes. Inspections are completed and approved. Construction and logistics are managed.
